Day 4 - Recap

Let’s recap the key points from today’s video on transitioning to a sales call:

Cue Recognition

At this point, your ideal client has shared:

  • Their specific problem
  • Why they feel it's a problem

Now we can shift to exploring their vision of success.

Engage Emotionally

Now we ask them:

  • "How would you feel if you no longer had this problem or challenge?"

Then we let them share their specific goal or success vision. This sells their motivation for the conversation back to you.

Seal the Deal

At this point, we go for the ask. We can use a simple pivot to do so:

  • "I know I can help you with this. I can share some insights and we can connect properly. How about we hop on a call and explore what it might look like if we work together on this?"

From here, we simply share 2-3 specific times and dates. But book the meeting as close as possible - time kills all interest.

Handling Objections

If they say no to the meeting, take the time to understand why:

  • Offer different dates/times
  • Or we can ask: "Seems like this is going better than expected. What if anything else is an issue for you right now?"

Today’s Task

Create a transition script including:

  • The question about how they'd feel without the problem
  • The exact pivot language to suggest the meeting

Your response plan for potential "no's"
